After a nuclear bomb blast, the temperatures suddenly drop as dust clouds cover the sky, blocking the sun. Mix this with the harsh British winter weather and you are set for very cold nights - especially as gas and electric supplies ceased when London was struck in a surprise attack. Luckily robmacca had been in the mid stage of preparing a bunker for emergencies. While there was food, water and warm clothes - there was no generator yet, not satellite services installed. This means, at times it can be colder in the underground bunker than outside in the radiation filled environment.
