Portaloo, How Does It Feel You Won The Nuclear War?!

Being prepared for the worst disasters is half the battle, having somewhere to go to the toilet while trying to survive inside a nuclear bunker would be another battle!




I've splashed out (no pun) on a 20 litre portable toilet, because if a disaster struck, I'd want to be able to do a number 2 with as much dignity as possible. No running water or electricity would mean taps, toilets and essential appliances may cease to work. Outdoors it would be less of a problem as we would easily find places to go but locked away deep inside a bunker with limited space adds new problems.

The portaloo is a good investment for the bunker and can be used for camping holidays or handy as a bedside toilet in old age!

    Everyone who grew up in the 80s has at least played this scenario out in their heads at some point.
    I remember hiding under the stairs pretending.

My Survival Kit

In order to survive something like a nuclear blast, you really need to prepare beforehand (and be incredibly lucky to be in the right place at the right time!). Here inside my bunker, I am preparing for a 'just in case' scenario. This video highlights some of the things I am including for my emergency bunker. There are many other items I've not yet purchased but I'm hoping to be ready before that dreadful day.
